Following the formation of a new Israeli government, aggressive Israeli plans are intended to be implemented on the expense of Palestinian rights. The Israeli plans include to annex occupied Jordan Valley and to annex Israeli settlements in occupied West Bank and Jerusalem to its so-called sovereignty.
Moreover, the Israeli authorities announced its decision to confiscate Islamic Waqf lands belonging to the Ibrahimi Mosque in occupied Hebron. This step endangers the Ibrahimi mosque which is listed as World Heritage Site.
These Israeli aggressive plans reflect the Israeli reckless disregard and indifference to the International law and International community as well as a threat to peace and security in the Middle East.
Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns these Israeli plans and considers them as part of the continued aggression on the Palestinian people.
The Ministry holds the Israeli authorities accountable for the repercussions of such plans and calls upon the International community to deter these Israeli violations against the Palestinian rights and lands.
